Did you know “Frizzato” means lighter bubbles in Italian? This is a sparkling dessert wine modeled after the Moscato d’Asti style hailing from Italy to be served as a dessert at the end of a meal. On the first sip, you would be pleasantly surprised at how drinkable and refined the fizziness of the wine comes across due to the small bubbles. Then, the sweet aromas of orange and honey will provide you a refreshing finish. Definitely a fun wine to have in the fridge and enjoyed at a chill gathering with friends and even at weekend brunch!
Our Moscato is made in this style, lighter-bodied, slightly carbonated, lower in alcohol and with just a little sweetness. We gave ours a screw cap to keep it all in. Give that bottle a quick twist and the wine fills the glass with delicate aromas of orange blossom, just-enough-sweet softness from its tiny bubbles to give a wonderful textural sensation. What follows is simply delicious.
