Our Take:
Made as a Bordeaux style wine this Cabernet Sauvignon presents an elegant and balanced proposition to the drinker. It is a medium to heavy bodied wine it has a complex flavor profile and while it was a bit tight in its youth, the time in the bottle has helped its flavors to evolve and open up into a graceful wine ready to be drunk now.
Tasting Notes:
This wine is very dark in color with intense aromas of blackberry, cassis, graphite, vanilla and cedar. The palate shows intense notes of boysenberry, plum, blueberry, camphor, smoke, coffee, cedar, and asian spices. The wine is wound tightly and should be decanted in its youth. With proper cellaring, it will evolve for 10 to 15 years.
