This medium-bodied Syrah is bursting with dark fruit flavors such as black cherry and blueberry. The Syrah was made from grapes from two different areas including a cooler district that gives this wine great harmony. It is a great wine to pair with heavy meat dishes such as roasted pork belly.
Varietal aromas of black cherry, blueberry, anise and black tea are lifted by barrel aging on lees in a 60/40 blend of American and French oak barrels. A touch of floral Viognier and white pepper on the palate, with baking spice on the finish.
